I am a member of the Missouri House Rabbit Society and other wildlife groups. I have assisted with adoptions and worked at the shelter cleaning cages and caring for the rabbits. I have been on the Board of Directors of a non-profit cat rescue. As a member of that organization I was involved with cat adoptions, helped organize rescues during the floods, and helped with grant writing and conducted fund raising
I have educated owners about the care of their pets and/or injured animals that they have found. I have worked with several pet owners to help them find the resources they needed to care for their pets when finances became difficult.
I have done pet sitting and dog walking and have provided care for dogs, cats, birds, rabbits and other pets. I have also had experience with horses, tropical and freshwater fish, ferrets, guinea pigs, chinchillas, hedgehogs, sugar gilders, water turtles, box turtles, hamsters, gerbils, rats, snakes, iguanas, and many more.
I also have experience with administering shots or insulin and medication. I have helped deliver puppies and kittens and cared for them. I also fed newborn kittens, and baby wild rabbits, wild baby birds. I also have experience with animals that have special needs. I have a cat that is deaf and have taught him sign language.
I am experienced with pet first aid and CPR.I have a lot of experience with animal education and help people with the right care of their pets and other information on animals. I have conducted education class on the care of animals. I organized and was in charge of the after care of rabbits that been spayed/neutered.
I have gathered signatures for The Puppy Mill Cruelty Prevention Act for the state of Missouri, and educated people about the puppy mills. I have educated people about the tethering ordinance/chain dog or cat and get help for dogs or cats that are chained up.
I currently own cats, rabbits, turtles, and guinea pigs & snakes in the past have had a horse, dogs, birds, fish, and gerbils etc.
I was employed at two pet stores where I cleaned cages, cared for the animals, offered customer service and education and stocked shelves.
I have experience trapping feral cats to get them spayed/neutered and then returned them to the wild. Caring for them with food, water and shelter.
I offer information on animal no-kill rescue groups and other animal information. Have talked to a lot of people about the right care for all animals.
I am involved in animal rights and welfare work. I do research on animal welfare laws and animal right with the welfare of all animals. I have been around animals my whole life and have a very big love for them all. That is why I started my business for the love of animals. We all need to stand up for all animals as they cannot speak for them self.
